I find that
games are like songs. There are an infinite number of them,
but only a few work all of the time. Additionally, you gotta
kinda read the crowd.
More Games:
Memory Game:
I have 45 items that fit into a small circular
aluminum candy-type holder..... then I place all of
them on a platter...it's called the memory game....I
have prepared lists numbered 1-45 on paper.....teams
of two work together and memorize the platter of
objects....then are given their answer sheets and a
pencil....they have 5 minutes...or two songs to write
as many as possible.....answer sheets are turned in to
scorer or scoring is done the old fashion way....swap
with your partner and circle the ones that are
correct...prizes given for top three teams
AGe to AGe trivia
I have index cards that have questions ie: name a boys
mane that begins with R....to........what is the
capital of Egypt.....I line up teams of two or three
boys versus gals....works great that way....
Name game....pin an index card to the back of each
player....the index card has the name of a famous
person....each person is told that he can ask
questions starting with IS......and that's it....play
a tune and let them loose...each has to ask.....is my
person a female.....is my person in movies...is my
person big....is my person black...is my person a solo
artist....is my person in a group...is my person in a
current movie....etc............then one by one, recap
the questions that THAT person asked and then ask THAT
person to guess who they think they are!!!!!
Age is equal to knowledge of famous people...teens
would know Jay-z and J Lo.......class reunions would
know lots older people....
Tootsie Roll Relay and Hoop
gather two or th7hree teams in rows of at least
5....first player holds a bowl of tootsie
rolls....each player has a plastic spoon in
hand....there is a hula hoop five feet away from last
player in line....so....
( )---holds bowl in one hand...spoon in other
( )holds spoon and receives tootsie..then passes
( )same and passes
( )same and passes
( ) last person has spoon, receives tootsie and
then races to drop it into the inner circle of hoop
( )hoops
